Rollie .........."Get him to the Total Greek"

The Lovely Lovely people at Total yoghurt decided to let Rollie try some Greek split pot Yoghurt's. Well Rollie was so excited He lay in wait for the Ocado man first he hid in a box. I worry about my cat what goes through its mind. Why did it eat its own eyes holes out. Rollie of course can be hired out as a hitman.

Rollie then decided to stalk the Ocado man by waiting at the window..... Poor Ocado man....

Finally the Ocado man delivered much to the relief of Rollie , me and the rest of the human race.

Evil Rollie inspects the yoghurt's. You never argue with this cat . he took his time inspecting his hoard. Perhaps it was because the Ocado man ran , ran for his life from the property and Rollie was sulking at missing out on live prey.

Honestly Rollie is smiling within.

This is the information from the Total Greek website.

"'                                  "NEW TOTAL 0% Greek Yoghurt Split Pots - ALL YUM, NO FAT!

*apart from TOTAL 0% with Honey which has 167 calories'  "
"

This all sounded good to me and Evil Ninja cat Rollie.

The First Total Greek Yogurt to be tried was the strawberry .Of course I ate the yogurt first and the cat had a little of each.... The split pot yoghurt's are great for breakfast, lunch or a dessert. We ate them mainly  for breakfast and for dessert . I found them all to be quite filling and satisfying . Anyway back to the strawberry yoghurt. I tried the strawberry compote first and found it to very sweet and quite jam like, but a very high quality jam.

Next up was the honey yoghurt, now I had read people had trouble with the honey setting in this yoghurt. I had no such trouble at all. The honey trickled easy offf my spoon into the Greek yoghurt. I have never been one for tipping the compote into the yoghurt. I think it is part of a mortal fear that it is going to spring out of my hats and splatter me in the face. I found the honey to be an ideal partner to the tartness of the Greek Yoghurt a good British  cup of tea.

We totally adored the blueberry yoghurt , it was an assualt on my senses. I loved the blueberries exploding on my tongue it was a bit of a "When Harry met Sally " moment ... blush. I think this has to be the best of the bunch  as it totally blew me away.

The final yoghurt was the tropical which at first looked odd because it has kiwi's in in but the taste is mellow and of course tropical  and it  transports you off to some tropical island( No it doesn't but we can all dream can't we.) It is rather sweet but it so nice.

So in conclusion Rollie and I really liked the yoghurts we think they have got the competition licked. Please head off to the Total Greek website , you can pick up so good fitness tips there too.

RSPCA tweetathon -Rollie the cat contribution

The RSPCA did a tweetathon to raise awareness of the work they are doing, I was proud to do this being a cat owner myself as you might have guessed by the blog title. Though Rollie the Ninja cat is really quite fluffy really... mostly.

The RSPCA has a 24 hour service which can be of crucial benefit to you sometime in your life. I know it has for me, many moons ago when I had a different cat. Myself and my husband went to see batman and when we came back the cat had caught a bat. To be honest there was not a lot we could do for the bat except call the RSPCA who in touch put us in contact with some lovely chap from a bat rescue group. Bats you see are a protected species. And another time I used their services was when I found an injured cat outside my house late at night, I didn't hesitate I just called the RSPCA and they arranged for me to take it to an emergency very late at night.

The one thing  I didn't know was that the RSPCA has tirelessly be working for animals since 1824 in promoting kindness and protection. Today the RSPCA receives an emergency call every 30 seconds - which is more than 1.25 million phone calls a year. Every day the RSPCA responds to around 1,000 incidents a day, rescuing, caring and re-homing animals that have been trapped, abandoned or hurt whether it's 2pm or 2am. Whats;s more ,the RSPCA is funded entirely by voluntary donations.

Here are some links to adoption stories and information.

My own cat Rollie.

Please visit and donate if you wish  http://donations.rspca.org.uk/247/online.aspx?seg=11CIN30262

So even though this tweetathon is now over they are many animals that still need you help.

Rollie doesn't mean to be rude really....

I have fun with my cat so please donate( or even adopt) from the RSPCA  if you wish to to bring joy in to an animals life.

Meowgon Pawney the @verylazyfood chef ......

The celebrity chef surveyed his empire readying himself with a few select swear words. Seeming that  no one is eating cucumber , Rollie is now using one as a battering ram for the cat flap. I digress from the task in hand or paw for that matter. Rollie had to get into his chef's whites.

Rollie was of course taught by Jaimie Oliver and gets his swearing ability from Gordon Ramsey.

Of course to save us from a trip to A & E I let my husband do the cooking.  I had been given Green Thai curry cooking concentrate from Very Lazy Food.

As you see from the top picture this comes in a neat glass jar with a a cardboard label surrounding this remove this to follow the very very easy instructions. The instructions told me to use chicken though you can substitute this for prawns etc Also suggested to add to it was green beans which husband did, husband also added those little sweetcorn things.

As the instructions say five minutes preparation fifteen minutes cooking !

The next step was siir frying the chicken for 3-4 minutes till cooked though husband gave it five.

The next step was for dutiful hubbie to add the Very lazy Green Thai Curry concentrate and cook for two minutes.

And of course don't forget the coconut milk........

And remembering to stir thoroughly, men are rather good at stirring aren't they.

The Coconut makes it quite fluid easily soaked up by the rice you can if you wish add a little less coconut milk than the 400ml suggested.

Whilst of course this is cooking out Rollie is preparing the boiling in the bag rice. Though the recipe suggested Jasmine rice . I would suddenly use my husband to cook again he is rather useful and worth keeping in the cupboard. Sorry the lazy Food concentrate is useful and definitely worth keeping in the cupboard there are so many variates to try. The chillies give it a bit of a kick but thats the way I like it.

When you have had a hard day cooking. ( NOTE cat is not DEAD its just tired.......)

Rollie is very much alive ( notice the wink ... again). I have a cat and yes it does cook..... Thank you @verylazyfood

The Cat's Whiskers........

What do you do when you have got an evil Ninja cat and it s demanding milk?. You can not give in however much your scratched leg, arms and sofa tell you. This is because of the high lactose content in cows milk. Just don't do it even if they give you a silly look....

Not even if they give you an half closed eye dozy evil stare....

So it was lucky those lovely people at Whiskers had given me Whiskers CatMilk to try..No not me the cat!

So Rollie decided to give it a go Here is the product description " Most cats love milk. "But did you know that the lactose (milk sugar) found in cow's milk can be difficult for some cats to digest? Whiskas® Cat Milk has been specially developed by top nutritionists and vets to provide a healthier alternative.

For starters Whiskas® Cat Milk contains much less lactose than you'd find in the same amount of cow's milk. It's also got the same great taste of ordinary milk and is a natural source of calcium (which will help keep her bones strong and healthy). Every lap is full of goodness."

Rollie decided to try the Milk out in the garden as it wasn't too hot.

By the end of it all Rollie was totally satisfied.

I must admit it looked good enough to put into my coffee! though I didn't.

With the Cat Milk the cat should also have water available with it at all times as well. As the Cats Milk is a complimentary pet food.Thank you Whiskers. Please visit Whiskers at  http://www.facebook.com/WhiskasUK

The Purrfect treat...... @BMpetcare

This time I am writing the post as i wish to thank Bmpetcare for saving my fingers. They gave me some Prime Cuts chicken and Tuna to review. Well the cat not me ! I have to say they are  the PURRFECT  treat in  every way from it gorgeous packaging( though the cat on the outside looks a bit soft for Rollie's  liking. I wouldn't bet on its chances in a fight with Rollie would you.) to the fact it has saved my fingers from being nibbled at.

The packet is resealable which is brilliant.

There is a de- oxidating sachet inside which must  NOT  be fed to your cat and is  inside the packet and the de- oxidating sachet MUST  be thrown away.

First we encounter the demon cat who expects my fingers:

Silver tabby on grass

With these snacks being an inch long I am able to keep all my fingers and interact with Ninja Rollie.
treats for your cat

Thank you @BmPetcare I salute you.

Though Rollie says "I line up my next meal Jack cat so Role  anyone?".....

The Worm has turned...... and How to worm a cat

"Rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," my owner screeched at me. Sounding like a whaling banshee. " Who's a lovely little kitty" they cooed. Excuse me call me that again mate and I will do ninja stylings on your new carpet. Remember those leather chairs?. So after 30 minutes of evil staring and plotting it was now  "Rollie , here puss, puss you little ***8***8**8" oh get you !, that will also teach you to stick me in blinking girly collar oh the shame when you are an evil ninja.

So after 30 mins I decided to graved the owner with the presence where upon they locked the cat flap... and said it was "Worming time. " Thanks to @BMpetcare  for this !

The Bob Martin 'Spot On' is a fast and effective deworming solution that is used to protect your  feline against common tapeworms(Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis,Echinococcus multilocularis. Each 0.5 tube contains 20mg of praziquantel which is the active ingredient designed to kill tapeworms. The product is 100 % effective at killing the worms.

There is no certain way to prevent worms, other than ( as recommended by your  vets ) to adminster dewormer every 3 months as a rountine measure to control the parasitic worms. The box contains two tubes of dewormer equal to 6 months supply.

 Application:
It  is as easy as pie. Just part the fur at the back of the cats neck ( Where they can't reach with the tongue , make sure their mates don't help !) and slowly squeeze all the solution onto the exposed skin. The liquid will be easily  absorbed in seconds.

The instructions are so easy to follow some are in the packet on a printed sheet, but also some are available on the packet itself .

That was it I was ready to go . My owner could not pick me up for an hour like that was going to happen ! Anyway said owner (or my pet really) washed their hands and I was out that cat flap. Would I behave would I  *******.

Notice please my evil wink call me cute at your peril.....

Cat in the hat .I don't do cute.

cute silver tabby kitten wearing a santa hat

"This is the one and only time I have worn a hat. I don't wear hats. Even then I had an evil stare. You say you pay for what you get, well not always. My servant "Jack" cost £15 and seems to like the stupid humans. I on the other hand cost over £100 and hate people, hate life, hate leather chairs and hate hats."

Silver tabby cat
Rollie has expressed to me his sadness and annoyance that no one has come forward. Rollie The Cat my blog inspiration

Silver tabby cat

Meet Rollie the ninja killer cat. "Awwh " I hear you cry, please don't be fooled. It may look like a certain brand of cat food cat but is trying to kill me. Firstly it has a taste in fine food, it often brings home French Brie, Water cress and cheddar cheese. It also assassinated a whole host of bumble bees and the poor pretty butterfly didn't stand a chance. It sits by the sinks looking at the sharp knives... but the worse thing it tried to do was gas us. No it didn't have a disagreeable meal it switched on the cooker gas. Hard to believe but true. I live in constant fear of Rollie the Ninja killer cat.
