River deep Mountain high
They say when you are blogging stay close to you niche and write what is true to your heart and I really hope that I do that and that comes across to you all. I never went the traditional route of many when it came to University and instead did a Heritage Conversation Course at Nottingham University.
You see fate was against me when it came to my early years of study with waring parents through my GCSE's years so really not the best of starts. I remember coming out the house one say because my Mathematics equipment had been smashed on the floor by one waring parent or the other. I had to go round to a school friends house and beg to borrow their maths equipment I am not very good at Mathematics to begin with and it is indeed a chink in my armour.
Another time again before leaving for an exam my parents exploded again in meteoric fashion think Krakatoa and you are haf way there. It was before a History exam my favourite subject that I was passionate about, if I could have been Indiana Jones or that chappy seeking out the Mummy oh yes Howard Carter then I would have been.
My mind was shot to pieces as was the situation always when my parents kicked off and I went into that exam a wreck and when I came out and discussed the situation with my friends I discovered I has completely written in the wrong section. So I had to go to the doctors and get an exam off to the exam board detailing that I was suffering from stress. Luckily I did pass this GCSE with flying colours in the end but it was a worry.
So i had all in all four years of sheer ill when it came to my GCSE and A levels and as as results I imploded when my A levels approached and there was a custody battle the likes I have never seen before it could have been made into a film like Notting hill with a stellar class
Oh dear readers it wasn't me it was over my black and white cat Boots that used to knock at the letter box to come in.
Then as the years galloped by with Father Time tapping his watch at me I took a course with Nottingham University in Heritage Conservation think Restoration Man and you half way there, though I fear you are now swooning as you think about the presenter... snap out of it...!
I passed that again with no problems but theres where my educational journey stalled and whilst I have a qualification that is the same as the best year of a degree I had a nagging feeling there was something missing.
So I have signed up with Open University to study an Early Years Foundation degree!
So whilst I had a rough start and it taken me forty years to get here and Father Time has now gone digital its never to late to follow your heart to achieve your dreams.

New Year Revolutions
Resolutions come and go , failing by the wayside people caught up in a moment of a lifetime of stored up regret, longing and wonderment. So why not break the mould and have a New year Revolution sort of like a new years Resolution but without the lifetime of guilt involved.
Start having a Revolution don't resolve to do it ... just do it ...
What are my Revolutions ?
You will at this point think that I have gone absolutely crackers but my Revolution is to defeat the anarchy of cheese.
The other is on a more serious note is not to let on line trolls bother me you see if you leave a nasty comment on my blog I can see your ISP address ( and I can see exactly where in the country you are , your internet provider say for example Virgin Media,BT , talk Talk and what device you are using such as perhaps an ipad, Mac ,PC etc and also what operating system you are using as well such as safari . I can not however see your actually address but I can see which town where you hide behind your computer ) and will report or block you as necessary and this may involve the police depending on the nature of the comment left. Bullying is never acceptable in any shape or form.
Right back to mirth and merriment another Revolution may involve eating foods I never ever eat such as tomatoes, or beetroot this may involve kidnapping a well known chef ........ * I am not really going to kidnap a chef, just leave a trail of breadcrumbs to tempt them back to my kitchen.
I'll knit a Revolution I started when I was 7 but quickly finished as Teddy only needed a Tom Baker Doctor Who scarf.
I'll have a cake Revolution and join the Women's Institute again this comes back to when I was 7 and was taken to these meetings. I promise NOT to pose for any calendars although if the paper and Hollywood beckon this may indeed change.
I'll have a hot drink Revolution and actually finish a drink ..... where did I put my coffee ?
I'll start a smiling revolution .....
I'll start a thinking Revolution and ponder life, the universe more....
SO what's going to be your Revolution for the New Year ......

Reconcilation
Twenty pounds was given to the visitor and my grandad quickly left to go to the hospital where my Nan was . My Nan didn't want to see the visitor she was one of those types that once an injustice is done that is it. You play your cards , you make your choices..
Life can so cruel if only the visitor had gone to see my Nan that day the ripples of destruction may not have been so evident. When people tell you to tell you to hold your dearest and dearest to you I really think now it is not as I so often thought a cliche but a truth.
When one half of a waring faction doesn't want to reconcile it is so so very hand. People say things and do that they shouldn't they are pushed into situations and cornered but what ever the reason it really seems that there is no going back.
I think there is if you open your heart you can make cordial relations no one is saying you have to be as you were but small steps and all that.
I have started on my road to reconcilation with the visitor my mother ... its one half of a coin who knows if it will ever be complete but least I know in my heart of hearts that I tried and thats all that matters for my soul.
So if you can see if you can reconcile a situation as long as its not a heinous crime commited against you or your loved ones. You make get knocked back , you may and will get upset but at least you have tried and the ball is quite firmly in their court.
