I am not one for minimalistic living , how I live is pretty much how am I am very relaxed despite being a very shy and an introvert , and I panic ( and my words and thoughts just run away with me ) see what I mean <<<<<
I have tried Kon Marie in some form or another , you don't if it doesn't spark joy it goes , I really did I even tried applying this technique when I was trying to buy a watch for myself at Christmas
"It's not sparking joy " I declared at every single jewellery shop that we visited resulting with me with my nose pressed up against the window , and you know what I still haven't managed to buy myself a watch I am going to have to relay on an old fashioned method of telling time by yourself:
"A freckle just past a hair " *
* It's a sayings thing

The kitchen is just one area I've to tackle a bit more that's when I'm not battling against Rollie about where he should be sleeping ~ he's a rebel bless him ( grits teeth ) and see yet again I've got distracted by something else , let's blame the cat ~ yes let's .
Another area is sorting out the living room ...

Arrrrgh the cat again thwarting me at every turn , dust sort and tidy !
Right let's get this post back on track to relaxed decluttering rather than a comatose day one !
I've placed a box in the hall way which I'm going to take to the charity shop at the end of the month , it's full of the stuff I'm not putting on EBay .

Don't let it be said I won't spark a tidying revolution ..

Right I'll just wait to tidy the table ~
Must admit that I love a bit of de-cluttering. I probably still own a bit more than I need but it makes me feel much calmer when I'm not surrounded by all the stuff!
ReplyDeleteCats are no help in this situation are they? I find my demon cat sparks fear rather than joy but I'm too scared of him to chuck him out.
ReplyDeleteI am loving that Rollie is helping in his own way!! LOL
