It has to be a rabbit as we live in the country and plenty of wild ones here. But the cats (not our cats) come and go after them :(

We love dogs in our house, we have a very lazy greyhound named Mr Mouse, if we had the room we would have a couple more, as contrary to popular belief greyhounds are extremely lazy dogs, Mr Mouse loves nothing more then lazing around on the sofa most of the day, he's a cheeky chappy too, if we leave our keys lying around when getting ready to go out, he hides them xxx

ReplyDeleteI love rabbits in stories and think they are cute in real life as long as they aren't in my garden eating up everything in sight! (We sunk wire netting all around our perimeter as rabbits love our garden!!!!!!)

My favourite animal is a cat, simply becauce they saunter around doing their own thing, yet insiste to sleep on your head! Google +'ed
ReplyDeleteI love orangutans because they are so adorable with their big childlike eyes and tufty orange fur. I dragged my husband to Monkey World in Dorset specifically to see their Orangutan 'family' and I could have happily sat by their enclosure all day watching them play!

Anyway. Hmmm. I have to say cats are my favourite animal. They are independent but still need love and care. My cat passed away in January, my Lovely Dez. He was so chilled out and he was a cats cat. He was often seen walking around with other cats and sat in between them to stop fights. He was truly remarkable and I miss him terribly. Next doors rabbit used to get in our garden, at first I thought he might hurt it, but they used to run around the garden together and the bunny would snuggle up with him. THis confused Dez enormously but he let the bunny do as it wanted.
Dez was completely black with a white tip on his tail. He passed away on a neighbours bed and they came to tell me. They said he looked after their cat by standing in-between anything which frightened their own cat. Their neighbours had large rabbits which scared the cat, and Dez just sat there looking at the rabbits till they hopped away. I would love a rabbit as we have a little girl just 14 months old and we feel it's essential for her to grow up caring about animals. We have another cat now but he's a bit mad and keeps bringing mice in. xxx
My favourite animals are cats, we have just adopted this stray tom who has strolled in. He's the mangiest cat ever lol all battered but so affectionate this is the second stray we have ended up adopting lol. G+ you x

ReplyDeleteMy favourite animal is probably a donkey. I think it's because we used to keep one as a pet. I still remember coming home from primary school one day to find one out our back, that my dad had bought because it was going to get put down and he felt sorry for it.

My favourite animal is a lion. I think they must have someone amazing working on their PR. Let's face it, they are the fiercest possible animal but everyone loves to see cuddly little lion toys. Daisy and Piper are currently big fans of Raa Raa so lions definitely feature heavily in all our stories and play time at the moment.

ReplyDeleteHas to be giraffes in our house. My daughter have over 700 of them!!! Our family stories include walking through a port near Montpellier in France one Bastille Day with my daughter the about 8 or 9 with a 6ft giraffe called George under her arm! As I'm quite slow at walking due to a mobility issue she ended up walking with me while everyone else decided to walk well ahead of us laughing!

He now has pride of place in our hallway where we get some strange looks when we get visitors. But we all love him.
