Toe Nail Fairy

Yes I am going to burst your bubble,crush your dreams make you cry hopelessly destroy your childhood dreams . Please don't cry and I am sorry I don't do a counselling service.

Remember when we were a child and were really really excited when you lost your teeth and put them under your pillow at night. You went bananas when you woke up , it was like Christmas morning. Lifting up your pillow just to see what the tooth fairy brought. It usually was some coins  a sweet note hand written of course by the tooth fairy. As all little children as inspiring capitalist they are really more interested in the cash, I have yet to find out if Lord Sugar or that lot off Dragons Den started their business success in such a manner. I have always strongly believed and was totally convinced that the tooth fairy existed and I wasn't a believer in the Toe nail fairy until until my son J told me otherwise or conned me into it. Thanks J .

When you are a children life is always so much simpler and magical days are endless and time doesn't exist. .Well its about the "Toe Nail Fairy" I am sorry it doesn't exist it was a clever ploy by J when he was 5 to con me out of cash on holiday.We were on holiday in Spain and one of his toenails had come off, he swore blind if there was a tooth fairy there had to be a toenail fairy.


He is 13 now and yes he is still conning me out of cash because he really really needs that avatar on his PS3.

This is Rollie with his stiff upper whisker they say pets are like their owner and there is no way I am this grumpy is there ? *Shrugs Shoulders...Let me think.


I like being on my own ... just like Rollie.

I spend my life at the sink ..... Just like Rollie.

I can give a grumpy death stare ... just like Rollie.

I can scratch ( if I have trimmed my toenails in bed sorry Mr T ... You don't ever ever trim Rollie claws !.

I am fussy about my food ... just like Rollie.

I can maintain a sniff upper whisker ( my hair on my lip needs shaving ) just like Rollie.

So in conclusion .. yes I am like my pet ... darn it.

POP PARTY 10 Review

Pop Party 10 is here!  Its hip its happening its poptastic pop pickers !!... awwh thats not quite the right lingo nowadays is it !

This album has bought me kicking and screaming back into the modern age I was living in the 1980's A-HA ..... Take on ME ..... NO NO quick but One Direction onto to save me from a curly wurly perm!

The album is packed to the rafters of chart-topping smashes from the biggest names in the world  pop from Maroon 5 ,  JLS to Cheryl Cole  I am sure my son knows them all it was he who informed me that GANGNAM STYLE  wasn't something rude !. There is a bonus to the album as it features a bonus DVD packed full of great music videos which trainee pop stars can dance along to. The album also includes lyric cards. Pop Party 9 sold a fantastic 322k in 2011 getting to #1 in the compilations chart.
  
This is a must have stocking filler for Christmas 2012!

So I know what I will be buying my nieces for Christmas this year.! And to prove that I am not quite the Oldie I have threatened to learn the dance moves to PSY "GANGNAM STYLE" if my son doesn't tidy his room .. oh look a tidy room amazing !

CBeebies The Album Review

I was waiting for this to arrive .. Working with 4 years olds I need to know all there is to know about Cbeebies and their Music!.

It has the power to bewitch and hold 4-6 years old in a sea of singing and bobbing along. It features all the newest songs from Cbeebies shows such as Rastamouse, Tweenies, Tree Fu Tom etc . Now working in Reception I have to be ofay with all the land that is Cbeebies because if you don't know the answer to a question or if you are unable to sing along to a theme tune then quite frankly you are doomed.

This is a two disc album with a total of 50 songs. Plenty of songs to keep your little one entertained and dancing. I was pleased to see there was songs that I still recognised from when my son was younger such as Balamory and the Tweenies. Getting young children moving is imperative for so many reasons its social, its fun , it tires them out ! ( a blessing for many parents)

At school in in Year 1 & Year 2 we do areobics to set the children up for their day of work it stimulates their minds and those of the teachers no doubt. However in Reception we do our own form of aerobics that this is much the shame as the rest of the school except this is geared up towards their fine and gross motors skills. Such activities are essential for the needs of the child to develop their hand writing skills which is connected to their fine motor skills. So where can you buy this from  Amazon is one of the places where you can buy this from £7.99 and I haven't worked out the cost per song.. I should have should I ! especially as I work in a school! Anyways its a bargain !
