A Plataypus is like a 4 year old!

Never ever argue with a Platypus ...

Why I hear you cry ...


Well its because they have poisonous claws .


Platypus make as much sense as 4 year olds except they are not poisonous they are just odd like a Platypus.Take for example my conversation this week finding a child holding a wet paper to his head I enquired :


"Are you hurt"

Nodding "Yes , yes ..sniff drawing up a dangly green bogey.

Where I asked.


"My feelings , my feelings are hurt" he sobbed.

He wasn't hurt physically someone had just hurt his feelings bless him...


I also caught some 4 year olds colouring each other teeth green and that is why a Playapus is like a 4 year old they make no sense half the time!

I have been ensured that there will be cake at this Blog camp I have never been before , I really am quite shy! So a really kind blogger is meeting me off my train to Manchester to ensure that I don't get lost.

I really have no sense of direction and quite often get on the wrong train home ....

Remberance Day Sorrows

Not sure who's reading this but here I go !.Both my grandparents were in the war one Grandad was a RAF engineer, the other was a GPO engineer who did secret work for Winston Churchill amongst others. My GPO grandad was involved with things at Bletchley Park , worked in the cabinet war rooms and other secret underground tunnels around London. He never really did say what went on because of the official secrets act and even when he could say things he didn't , he was old school. I never really blog too much about my family history not sure who'd want to read it anyway. All I know that without people like my grandparents the world would not have been such a safe place to live in.

Another sad family fact was that the GPO grandad grew up without a dad his dad had been in the Great war and it really affected him. For years I had been lead to believe he had died of a burst appendix, one of those family secrets that rattled around. But when my Nan died she told me that My GPO Grandad dad had hung himself in a church, how sad. Without the scarifices of all these brave men , women etc We would not have the world in which we live today. It may not be perfect but it really could have been so different.

Sorry I have been very tardy of late getting round to blog post its been madcap for me as I have gone down to Reception at my school and its a whole new ball game. My days at the minute involve telling children not to chalk their teeth and delivering phonics lessons.. busy!

At the en of the day i found that the supermarket I was shopping from in the first place was the cheapest for my families needs.
