The Garden Games Giant Tower review

The Garden Games Giant Tower is a Giant version of the already popular Jenga Game by Leslie Scott, Containing 58 pine blocks from renewable resources, this giant version does really stand out from the crowd. With an average build height of 2.5m you will be kept entertained for hours.

The aim of the game is to build the tower as high as possible without letting it fall, you could even use it for team building to see who's tower lasts the longest and builds the highest, perfect for any party, work event or BBQ.

The Garden Games Giant Tower sits between our very popular Garden Games Hi-Tower and the Mega Hi-Tower and is supplied in a box that the game can be stored in when not in use. The pine blocks have a superior finish giving the game a real quality feel and they have the Garden Games logos as a stamp of quality assurance.

So even though summer is over you can play this inside if you have the space. Its ideal for schools,Rainbows,Brownies Scouts and other organisations to use. It brings people together to have a lot of fun!

( Diclosure I was given a set of this to review in the summer but unfortunately my son broke his finger and was un able to test it, now he's better I am going to get his rugby club to test it)

Remberance Day Sorrows

Not sure who's reading this but here I go !.Both my grandparents were in the war one Grandad was a RAF engineer, the other was a GPO engineer who did secret work for Winston Churchill amongst others. My GPO grandad was involved with things at Bletchley Park , worked in the cabinet war rooms and other secret underground tunnels around London. He never really did say what went on because of the official secrets act and even when he could say things he didn't , he was old school. I never really blog too much about my family history not sure who'd want to read it anyway. All I know that without people like my grandparents the world would not have been such a safe place to live in.

Another sad family fact was that the GPO grandad grew up without a dad his dad had been in the Great war and it really affected him. For years I had been lead to believe he had died of a burst appendix, one of those family secrets that rattled around. But when my Nan died she told me that My GPO Grandad dad had hung himself in a church, how sad. Without the scarifices of all these brave men , women etc We would not have the world in which we live today. It may not be perfect but it really could have been so different.

Sorry I have been very tardy of late getting round to blog post its been madcap for me as I have gone down to Reception at my school and its a whole new ball game. My days at the minute involve telling children not to chalk their teeth and delivering phonics lessons.. busy!

Quite a few weeks I went up to London to go to the Savoo Save Up conference. I am a big fan of saving money  sometimes by family used to get fed up with my money scrimping ideas but have soon come around to it but they started to receive the benefits from it. Once they can see the reward they were are hooked !

Savoo are a money saving community and have their website where you can get voucher codes to help you save money in all areas of your life very handy with a teenage and tech savvy husband! Savoo offer personalisation so there is no need to worry about getting offers that are not relevant to you.

At the conference many money saving tips were shared , I enjoyed of all it I learnt some excellent tips from My Money Supermarket

With My money Supermarket you do you usual supermarket shop and it tells you the best place to get it from.  Now I do have a certain supermarket preferance and that;s ok as it lets me choose the deals my that supermarket. At the en of the day i found that the supermarket I was shopping from in the first place was the cheapest for my families needs.

At the moment Savoo have a little competition on so In these tough economic times, frugal living has never been more popular. That's why they are on the hunt to find the Uk's smartest Shopper. The winner will not only receive £10,00 but will also have an opportunity to work with Savoo to create what they expect to be an award winning money saving blog.

Egyptian dream The Gallery " Yellow"

I didn't take J abroad till he was 5 years old I really didn't fancy globetrotting with him until he was old enough and pushchair free and all the other baby/toddler equipment that goes with it. It can be done but for me it was a personal choice and I just didn't fancy it.

Our globetrotting started off with taking him to Spain and then we went for the good Ole USA and plumped for Florida and the happy smiley world that is Disney. It took a lot of planning but we survived yay so much so over the years we have been three times. So leaving the Disneyfication aside we plumped for the more adventurous and we took him to Lapland far from the ususual  lets go visit Father Christmas we flew out to an was an intense advenure. With sledging with huskies and playing snow football , also going on snow mobile trek.

We also whisked J off to Egypt not I have to say what is Egypt to most people but for what is people real Egypt the hustle and bustle, sights and sounds of chaotic Cairo. Also we ventured to more relaxed Luxor ideal destination of those seeking a 1920 feels and Agatha Christie inspired mystery murder and adventure.

You can't get  more Yellow then Egypt can you now  ?
