Gnome nickers
You are at the hairdressers and you listen in to a neighbouring conversation it's about crime.
The conversation was between of the hairdressers (obviously) and a gentleman slightly lacking in hair on the top of his head.
Man" ooh the state of crime around my area is terrible !"
Hairdresser nodding " yes , yes shocking "
Man " Yes they jump over my fence , and nick Gnomes, they are Gnome nickers "
I find the mental image of this very amusing as I have visions of burglars hurdling over white picket fences holding the poor gnome as they go. Perhaps it could be a new Olympic sport with the irate Gnome owners chasing the burglars.
And then I found this ... Are toddlers who played in their Grandparents gardens reacting to earlier memories of all those Gnomes watching them. is society to blame for the spate of "Gnome nickers' ?
