Good natured salad review

I was given the opportunity to review Good natured salad. I used to run a mile at the though of healthy living but with my weight gain I have to do something after all I want to be around for my son.

I washed the pepper and baby plum tomatoes.

I then chopped the pepper and add both the pepper and tomatoes to some rice and chicken to make a nice healthy crunchy salad.

The peppers and tomatoes cost around £1.60 from ASDA a bit pricey but as its Organic and pesticide free you pay for what you get. I don't grow my own vegetables though I really should start to my lovely friend Jane Willis over at her awe inspiring blog  and her  husband has the most amazing garden  blog.

Well Jane has provided me with a lovely recipe which I shall be using on the remaining vegetables I have left and adding a few myself Organic and pesticide free of course.

Sweet and Sour vegetable stir-fry serves 4

A  selection of  vegetables eg:
150 g sugar snap peas
150g baby sweetcorn, halved
1 bunch spring onions, sliced on the diagonal

1 tbs oil for frying

For the sauce:
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs white wine vinegar
2 rounded tbs tomato purée
Juice of 1 orange
1 rounded tsp cornflour
1 rounded tbs Canderel
100  ml water

Whisk together all the sauce ingredients except the water then gradually blend in the water.
Heat the wok and stir fry the veg until just tender. Add the sauce mixture at the end of cooking, stirring until it comes to the boil and thickens.

Serve with steamed rice as a light lunch. You can make it into a main meal by adding some chicken, tofu or prawns to the stir fry.

The Cat's Whiskers........

What do you do when you have got an evil Ninja cat and it s demanding milk?. You can not give in however much your scratched leg, arms and sofa tell you. This is because of the high lactose content in cows milk. Just don't do it even if they give you a silly look....

Not even if they give you an half closed eye dozy evil stare....

So it was lucky those lovely people at Whiskers had given me Whiskers CatMilk to try..No not me the cat!

So Rollie decided to give it a go Here is the product description " Most cats love milk. "But did you know that the lactose (milk sugar) found in cow's milk can be difficult for some cats to digest? Whiskas® Cat Milk has been specially developed by top nutritionists and vets to provide a healthier alternative.

For starters Whiskas® Cat Milk contains much less lactose than you'd find in the same amount of cow's milk. It's also got the same great taste of ordinary milk and is a natural source of calcium (which will help keep her bones strong and healthy). Every lap is full of goodness."

Rollie decided to try the Milk out in the garden as it wasn't too hot.

By the end of it all Rollie was totally satisfied.

I must admit it looked good enough to put into my coffee! though I didn't.

With the Cat Milk the cat should also have water available with it at all times as well. As the Cats Milk is a complimentary pet food.Thank you Whiskers. Please visit Whiskers at  http://www.facebook.com/WhiskasUK

The Purrfect treat...... @BMpetcare

This time I am writing the post as i wish to thank Bmpetcare for saving my fingers. They gave me some Prime Cuts chicken and Tuna to review. Well the cat not me ! I have to say they are  the PURRFECT  treat in  every way from it gorgeous packaging( though the cat on the outside looks a bit soft for Rollie's  liking. I wouldn't bet on its chances in a fight with Rollie would you.) to the fact it has saved my fingers from being nibbled at.

The packet is resealable which is brilliant.

There is a de- oxidating sachet inside which must  NOT  be fed to your cat and is  inside the packet and the de- oxidating sachet MUST  be thrown away.

First we encounter the demon cat who expects my fingers:

With these snacks being an inch long I am able to keep all my fingers and interact with Ninja Rollie.
treats for your cat

Thank you @BmPetcare I salute you.

Though Rollie says "I line up my next meal Jack cat so Role  anyone?".....
